NM, CO and HI Rush form alliance to provide members more player development opportunities!

Beginning fall 2021 multiple Rush Soccer Clubs within the West Region will create a strategic alliance to give Rush players increased playing opportunities over multiple elite player platforms to better aid each affiliate club in true player development.  The charter Rush Soccer Clubs will be New Mexico, Colorado and Hawaii.  The goal of this strategic alliance will be for each club to allow its most elite players more flexibility to maximize player development over various league platforms.  This alliance will be supplemental to Rush Soccer's already extensive programming which includes programs like CAP, Rush Select XI , Rush Fest and the Rush Guest Player platform.

According to NM Rush Technical Director Justin Sells, "We feel as a club that our most elite level players should be playing 50-60 matches annually across various platforms each year.  I'm really excited about this alliance as it will allow our most dedicated and committed players multiple avenues to play with other top players within Rush.  It will also get players the needed amount of quality games each year to fully develop their overall game.  Most importantly it will give top players multiple outlets to get needed exposure to college coaches."  This alliance will see Rush player having the ability to play in various merit and club based league platforms such as the Boys ECNL, Girls Academy League, USL Academy League and USYS National League Desert Conference.

The Colorado Rush Boys Director, USL Academy Coach & USL2 Head Coach, Elliot Prost has already identified top talent from NM Rush and Hawaii Rush to supplement the Colorado Rush USL Academy (U16-U19) team that will launch play May 2021 featuring a 12 game summer based season within the leagues Southwest Division.

The Colorado Rush Girls Academy Program will also be offering Girls Academy (GA) ID Days on April 9th and 23 in Denver, CO for interested Rush players.  Players ID Days will be held at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood, CO for 2009 through 2003 players.  Sessions will be held at 4:30pm and 6pm respectively.  Players that want to participate in these ID Days can register by clicking here.

NM Rush Soccer Club will be hosting Boys ECNL Player ID Days in May 2021 and June 2021.  Dates will be released soon through our club website and social media outlets.  Stay tuned for more info!
