Various Rush Soccer alumni returned to action last week in their respective professional competitions:
NWSL CHALLENGE CUP
NC Courage 2 - 1 Portland Thorns
Lindsey Horan: The Portland Thorns midfielder and Colorado Rush alumna played all 90 minutes. The American international finished with two shots on-goal, including a saved attempt that saw teammate Simone Charley finish off the rebound.

Of Horan’s 37 attempted passes, she completed 30 (81%). She took 75 touches, won 13 duels and contributed on defense with six clearances, four tackles and an interception.

The Thorns and Horan next face the Chicago Red Stars on July 1 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Ryan Williams: The NC Courage defender and Colorado Rush alumna was an unused substitute in the tournament’s opening match.
The Courage next face the Washington Spirit on July 1 at 10 p.m. ET.
Washington Spirit 2 - 1 Chicago Red Star
Jordan DiBiasi: The Washington Spirit midfielder and Colorado Rush alumna played all 90 minutes in the NWSL Challenge-opening victory.

DiBiasi took one shot, created three chances and completed 82% of her passes. Defensively, she won four duels and won both her attempted tackles.
ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
Chelsea 2 - 1 Manchester City
Christian Pulisic: The Chelsea attacker and Michigan Rush alumnus opened the scoring in the victory that eventually eliminated City from the Premiership title race, seeing Liverpool lift the competition’s trophy for the first time in 30 years.

The U.S. international finished with Man of the Match honors thanks to his 36th minute counter-attack finish off a broken City corner kick. Pulisic played 89 minutes with three shots on-goal and a 72% passing percentage.
In the Premier League, Chelsea and Pulisic next face West Ham United on July 1 at 3:15 p.m. ET.
FA CUP
Leicester City 0 - 1 Chelsea
Christian Pulisic: The 21-year-old Michigan Rush alumnus featured for 72 minutes in the FA Cup quarterfinal match, seeing his Blues through to the semifinals against Manchester United on July 18.
Pulisic took two shots, created one chance and finished with a 66% passing percentage. He contributed one cross, and one key pass out of his 33 touches.
