Player Pathway (Programs)

The NM Rush Player Development Pathway is a blueprint for growth and development opportunities within NM Rush Soccer Club.  This pathway features various playing levels and programs that are specifically designed to improve players season to season and year to year based on each individual players commitment and dedication to the game.  The NM Rush Player Development Pathway features various playing levels and program milestones listed below.  

Rush Select XI Program:   Rush Select program is a National Rush Program designed for the elite player seeking playing opportunities domestically and internationally with the best players Rush Soccer has to offer worldwide.  These events feature Player I.D. Camps, Domestic Showcase Tournaments, and International playing opportunities against youth international players.  

Elite Training Program:  ETP trainings are designed for our very top players as identified by our technical staff in the U11-U14 & U15-U18 age groups.  Session run during the months of September, October, March, and April.  The players are selected each month based on their performance throughout the fall and spring seasons.  All session are run by out D.O.C.'s and/or Technical Director. ETP Program is directed by NM Rush Technical Director, Justin Sells.  *There is an additional fee of $25 per player per month to participate in this program.  Invitations are sent to selected players every month by technical staff.   
 
Rush "2" Elite Program:  
R2E trainings are designed for 20 players selected by our technical staff in the U11-U14 & U15-U18 age groups.   Session run during the months of September, October, March, and April.  These players are selected based on their commitment, improvement, and potential to break into the club's Elite Training Program.  All session are run by our D.O.C.'s and/or Technical Director.  R2E Program is directed by NM Rush U11-U14G D.O.C., Pancho Macias.  *There is an additional fee of $50 per player per month to participate in this program.  Invitations are sent to selected players every month by technical staff.  
 
Friday Night Finishing Program:
 FNF is a program open to all U9-U19 players in the club that wish to work on their finishing during the fall and spring seasons.  Sessions are run by various D.O.C.'s through the year.  FNF Program is directed by NM Rush U9-U10 D.O.C., Edgar Davila

GK Training Program:  These training sessions are open to all registered U9-U19 Goalkeepers in the club during the fall and spring seasons.  Sessions are run by our D.O.C. Goalkeeping during the week.  The program also consists of a match evaluation component that happens during annual DCSL play.  The NM Rush Goalkeeper Program is directed by D.O.C. Goalkeeping, Robert Castro  .    
   
Competitive Rush, Nero, and Azul (U9-U19) Teams:  Teams that play with the club from the U9 through U19 ages.  All teams are led by licensed coaches.  Players are assigned to teams based on their individual ability, commitment level, and club tryout process.  Questions regarding player placement can be directed to NM Rush U11-U14B D.O.C., Travis Masterson or NM Rush U15-U20G D.O.C., Richie Louis.  

Center of Excellence (Developmental U5-U8):  Program designed to introduce the basic skills and tactics of the "Rush Way" to our youngest players.  Fall program begins Sept. 11th at North Domingo Baca Park and Mariposa Basin Park.  NM Rush C.O.E. Program is directed by C.O.E. Director, Bob Edwards
