Aislynn Crowder

Aislynn Crowder was first called up to the United States National Team program in 2017, when she attended January camp with the U-16s and became the first Hawaii Rush player invited to a U.S. National Team camp.

Since then, she has continued to excel for the United States and Hawaii Rush, receiving callbacks to National Team camps throughout the year and leading her Hawaii Rush team at the Region IV Championships in the summer of 2017.

Arian Hoxha, Hawaii Rush Technical Director and Rush Soccer National Techincal Director, states, “Aislynn loves soccer. This is a common denominator with players that excel.”

Crowder’s success at the National Team level has been replicated by clubmate Sunshine Fontes and Hawaii Rush alumna Chardonnay Curran, who were both called into the U.S. Youth National Team program in 2017. Fontes is currently in Argentina with the U.S. U-17s.

Additionally, Hawaii Rush’s Hunter Malaki played with the Samoan U-19 National Team last year.

“I remember Aislynn when she was 10 years old, back in 2011,” shared Rush Soccer President and CEO Tim Schulz. “She loves football. If there is a soccer get together, she is there. Same now, same back then."

Crowder will next don the Rush ‘R’ this weekend when she plays with the Rush Select Program’s 2001 Girls team at the Presidents’ Day Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hawaii Rush continues the growth and achievement exemplified by its marquee players; the club expanded most recently to the island of Maui and is sure to already be training the next Aislynn Crowder.

Crowder and Fontes with U.S. National Team Center Back Carrie Dew and then New York Red Bulls player Medhi Ballouchy in 2011.
