NM Rush Alums cap off fantastic 2023 NCAA Division I seasons!

Former NM Rush standout (NM Rush 04B ECNL), Alex Waggoner caped off a successful true freshman campaign for the Univ. of Michigan Wolverines men's soccer program. Alex started 12 of 18 matches for the Wolverines this fall season in a schedule that feature top opponents such as Norte Dame, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State and Akron to name a few. Alex finished the 2023 season leading the Wolverines in total goals (6) and total points (12). NM Rush would like to congratulate Alex on a great start to his NCAA Division I college career.

Former NM Rush standout (NM Rush 05G DPL), Molly Wissman capped off a fantastic season as a true freshman at NCAA Div. I program Denver University. Molly started a total of 18 out of 18 matches for a total of more than 1600 minutes during her freshman campaign. DU finished the season with an overall record of 9-2-7 only losing to the Univ. of Colorado, North Dakota State and Univ. of Omaha (in PK's) in the Summit League Playoffs.

Former NM Rush standout (NM Rush 04B ECNL and 03B ECNL), Nicholas Legendre (sophomore) and the University of Norte Dame men's soccer team who advanced to the NCAA Division I National Championship match dropping the game 2-1 to Clemson last night. Nic played in eight matches for Norte Dame this season scoring one (1) goal and adding one (1) assists for a total of three points.

Former NM Rush standout (NM Rush 03B ECNL) Lamar Bynum (Junior) and Southern Methodist University men's soccer program had a great fall 2023 season seeing the SMU squad fall out of the NCAA Division I National Tournament in the third round to Oregon State. Lamar started all of SMU's matches this season after moving to Div. I level from CSU-Pueblo (NCAA Div. II). Lamar playing mainly as an outside back was top five in total minutes played for the squad this season adding one (1) assist this 2023 fall season.

Congrats to all our ex-players and we are looking forward to their impact during the 2024 season!
